Who will perform my eye surgery?
The surgeon named in your consultation and surgery record performs your operation. 1mm runs a surgeon-disclosure policy, so there is no ghost or proxy surgery.
Should I choose non-incisional or incisional double eyelid surgery?
Non-incisional surgery suits thin eyelids with little excess skin or fat. Incisional surgery suits thicker lids, excess skin, or patients who want a more defined, lasting crease. Your surgeon recommends one after examining lid thickness, skin and muscle strength.
What is the difference between double eyelid surgery and ptosis correction?
Double eyelid surgery creates the crease. Ptosis correction changes how far the eyelid opens. When the lifting muscle is weak, a crease alone can look heavy, so the two are often done together.
Can you fix eyelid surgery done at another clinic?
Yes. Revision surgery corrects creases that are too high, uneven, fading or scarred, and eye corners opened too far by earlier canthoplasty. Bring previous surgery records if you have them.
How long should I stay in Seoul?
It depends on the procedure. Incisional eyelid surgery usually needs a follow-up visit for stitch removal about a week later, so plan your stay around that. Your surgeon confirms the exact schedule at consultation.
Can I get a consultation before I travel?
Yes. Send clear photos of your eyes open, gently closed and looking up through WhatsApp or the online form for a preliminary opinion. The final plan is confirmed in person with your surgeon.
How is safety managed during surgery?
A dedicated anesthesia team monitors one patient at a time from the start of surgery through recovery, all medical staff hold ACLS certification, and operating rooms run on a separate sterile infection-control system.
